Annual Return for 2023-2024 year is not yet opened.
CPCB issued notice on 13.05.2024 with reference to registration of Producer, Importer, Brand Owners (PIBOs) & Plastic Waste Processor (PWPs) on CPCB EPR portal under Plastic Waste Management Rules, 2016 (as amended).
Key Highlights of the Notice
* Due to Force Majeure conditions, deadline for registration is extended to May 31, 2024 .
* SPCBs/PCCs must grant or renew Consents to Operate only after EPR Portal registration, including registration number in the consent.
* Producers/Importers/Recyclers cannot sell to non-registered Brand-owners (except MSMEs) and must include brand-owner's registration number in GST E-invoices.
c. CPCB issued notice on 13.05.2024 with reference Extension in timeline for filing of Annual Return (AR) by Producer, Importer, Brand Owners (PIBOs) & Plastic Waste Processor (PWPs) registered during FY 2022-23 on CPCB EPR portal under Plastic Waste Management Rules, 2016 (as amended)
Key Highlights of the Notice:
*Deadline to file annual returns for FY 22-23 has been extended to May 31, 2024 . All PIBO to ensure to file annual returns within stipulated timeline.
*Annual Report shall be auto filed after May 31, 2024 on the Centralized EPR Portal.
*Environmental Compensation (EC) shall be levied on registered PIBOs/PWPs as per CPCB guidelines for late filing of the Annual Report.
Battery Waste Management
a. Registered users can now edit their application which they had submitted during the registration.
b. My Wallet” section is available on the portal.
