India’s industry landscape is rapidly evolving. The management of effluents and sewage has been elevated to a priority in terms of environmental protection and regulation. All industries, including pharmaceuticals, textiles and food processing to chemical manufacturing and chemicals, are required to comply with strict environmental regulations set by both the Central Pollution Control Board's (CPCB), and their respective State Pollution Control Boards.
