ASI/ASISSE Notice Return Filing Services in Gurgaon

Expert Consultants for Companies, LLPs & Industrial Establishments in Gurgaon — MoSPI / NSO Compliance

Gurgaon (Gurugram) has become one of India's most densely incorporated commercial corridors — and that concentration means a significant number of Gurgaon-based businesses are on NSO's ASISSE notice list.

If your company or LLP received a notice from MoSPI or NSO at your Gurgaon registered office, it's not a scam. Since April 2026, the National Statistical Office has been issuing statutory compliance notices to thousands of incorporated entities across India under two surveys — ASI and ASISSE. The obligation is backed by the Collection of Statistics Act, 2008, and penalties run to Rupees 5,000 per day after a 14-day window.

ASC Group, headquartered in Delhi NCR, handles ASI/ASISSE filings for companies and LLPs across Gurgaon and the broader Haryana region. If your team doesn't know where to begin, we do.

Why Gurgaon Businesses Are Heavily Represented in ASISSE Notices

ASISSE specifically targets incorporated services sector enterprises — IT companies, fintech firms, BFSI, logistics, professional services LLPs, healthcare chains, and real estate companies. Gurgaon is home to one of the highest concentrations of these businesses in the country.

The Cyber City and DLF Cyber Hub corridor houses hundreds of MNCs' India offices, IT and technology companies, and consulting firms. Golf Course Road, Sohna Road, and Udyog Vihar host financial services companies, NBFCs, insurance firms, and corporate headquarters. NH8 and Manesar have manufacturing and industrial units.

NSO's sampling for ASISSE used the GSTN database. Haryana GSTINs registered by Gurgaon-based companies are well-represented in the national sample of approximately 1,21,350 enterprises. If you received the notice, your GSTIN was in that sample.

ASI and ASISSE — Which One Applies to You?

ASI (Annual Survey of Industries): Manufacturing survey — factories, electricity undertakings, industrial units under the Factories Act, 1948. Gurgaon's IMT Manesar, Udyog Vihar, and Sector 37 industrial areas house manufacturing units in auto components, electronics, and engineering goods that can appear in ASI samples.

ASISSE (Annual Survey of Incorporated Services Sector Enterprises): Launched April 2026. Covers IT, ITES, financial services, trade, transport, hospitality, real estate, healthcare, professional services — incorporated entities only. The majority of Gurgaon's ASISSE notices will fall here.

Both surveys run under the Collection of Statistics Act, 2008 (amended 2017) and the Jan Vishwas Act, 2023.

Important: These surveys are legally and operationally separate from GST or Income Tax. The Act prohibits NSO from sharing submitted data with the IT Department, GST authorities, SEBI, or RBI for enforcement. What you submit stays within the statistical system.

Penalty Structure

Default Stage Penalty

Penalty payment doesn't close the filing obligation.

How ASC Group Works With Gurgaon Clients

Notice Verification and GSTIN Scoping We authenticate the notice, identify the selected Haryana GSTIN(s), check the reference period, and map your exact obligation. Many Gurgaon companies — particularly IT and fintech firms — have GSTINs across 20+ states. Each selected GSTIN files independently.

Block-by-Block Data Preparation The questionnaire covers specific data blocks — enterprise identity and NIC classification (Block 1), fixed assets (Block 3), working capital and borrowings (Block 4), employment headcount by gender (Block 5), intermediate consumption under CPC 3.0 (Blocks 6A & 6B), revenue and output (Block 7A), digital technology infrastructure (Blocks 11 & 12). For IT and fintech companies, Block 12's digital infrastructure questions are particularly detailed.

Financial Reconciliation GST returns, P&L, balance sheet, payroll register, and fixed asset schedule — all reconciled before portal submission. For Gurgaon-based MNC Indian subsidiaries and holding company structures, this requires tracing what's captured in the Indian entity versus what flows to the parent.

Multi-GSTIN Apportionment Gurgaon has a high density of national headquarters and corporate offices that run consolidated books. We extract Haryana GSTIN-specific data accurately from group financials.

Portal Filing and Follow-Up Support End-to-end submission through the MoSPI secure portal and handling of any post-submission NSO queries.

Why Gurgaon Corporates Face Specific Challenges: Gurgaon houses an unusually high number of MNC Indian subsidiaries that serve as regional headquarters. These entities typically run books that partially mirror the global parent's financial reporting structure — and separating Haryana GSTIN-level data from what's a group-level allocation (software licenses, shared services costs, intercompany transactions) requires experienced handling. We work with this routinely.

Frequently Asked Questions

We're an MNC subsidiary in Gurgaon. Our India entity received an ASISSE notice. Does this affect our parent company? No. ASISSE only applies to your Indian incorporated entity. The data submitted covers your Indian operations under the Haryana GSTIN. Your parent company's data is not in scope.

Our Gurgaon office is just a registered office — actual operations run from multiple states. What data do we submit? You submit data specific to the Haryana GSTIN that received the notice. If your Haryana GSTIN captures certain revenue and employees, that's what goes into the return — not your consolidated pan-India data.

We have a fintech company in Gurgaon with a PAN-India customer base. How does revenue get reported? Revenue gets reported as captured under the Haryana GSTIN for the financial year — as per GST returns and audited financials for that registration.

Can ASC Group serve Gurgaon clients across Cyber City, DLF Phase, and Manesar? Yes. We serve clients across all of Gurgaon and the Gurugram district.

Don't Wait on This

Gurgaon's corporate landscape is fast-moving, and ASISSE is new enough that many companies haven't dealt with it before. The filing deadline doesn't care about that, though — and penalties start accumulating the moment the grace window closes.
