ASI/ASISSE Notice Return Filing Services in Faridabad
Expert Consultants for Companies, LLPs & Industrial Establishments in Faridabad — MoSPI / NSO Compliance
If your Faridabad factory or company has received a notice from MoSPI or NSO, here's the short version: it's real, it's mandatory, and you have 14 days before daily penalties start.
Faridabad is one of the largest industrial cities in North India — and for NSO's Annual Survey of Industries (ASI), its manufacturing sector has historically been a significant part of the national sample. Since April 2026, with the addition of ASISSE covering the services sector, incorporated entities in Faridabad are also receiving notices alongside the usual ASI notices that factory-owning businesses may have dealt with before.
ASC Group, based in Delhi NCR, handles complete ASI/ASISSE filing for Faridabad and Haryana businesses. This is what the process involves.
Why Faridabad Shows Up in NSO's Samples
Faridabad is one of the oldest and most established industrial towns in Haryana. Its industrial areas — Old Faridabad, NIT, Sector 24-25 Industrial Area, and the NH44 belt — house factories in auto parts, tractors, industrial machinery, rubber and plastics, glass, and steel products. These establishments have long appeared in NSO's ASI samples because they fall squarely in the registered manufacturing sector under the Factories Act, 1948.
For ASISSE, the newer survey, NSO used the GSTN database for sampling. Haryana GSTINs registered by incorporated entities in Faridabad — trading companies, logistics firms, services sector LLPs, and professional services companies — are in scope if they were part of the national sample.
ASI vs ASISSE — What's the Difference?
ASI (Annual Survey of Industries): The manufacturing survey — factories, electricity undertakings, industrial units under the Factories Act. Running since 1959. Faridabad factories in engineering goods, auto parts, and industrial manufacturing have been part of this survey historically.
ASISSE (Annual Survey of Incorporated Services Sector Enterprises): Brand new — April 2026. Covers incorporated services entities: trade, IT, ITES, financial services, transport, real estate, healthcare, education, professional services. If a Faridabad-registered service company or LLP received this notice, this is the applicable survey.
Both operate under the Collection of Statistics Act, 2008 and the Jan Vishwas Act, 2023.
Critical point: Neither survey has any connection to GST or Income Tax scrutiny. NSO is legally barred from sharing your submitted data with the IT Department, GST authorities, SEBI, or RBI. The data feeds national economic statistics — nothing else.
Penalty Structure
| Default Stage | Penalty |
|---|---|
| Failure or refusal to furnish information | Up to Rupees 5,000 (companies) / Rupees 1,000 (individuals) |
| Non-compliance continuing beyond 14 days | Up to Rupees 5,000 per day (companies) / Rupees 1,000 per day (individuals) |
| Wilful submission of false information | Imprisonment up to 6 months and/or fine |
| Recovery mechanism | As arrears of land revenue under Section 15C |
The fine is in addition to the filing — not a substitute.
How ASC Group Handles Faridabad Filings
Verify the Notice We confirm the notice is authentic, identify which Haryana GSTIN(s) are selected, and map out your exact filing obligation. Faridabad companies operating across multiple states need GSTIN-level mapping done before any data preparation begins.
Prepare Each Data Block
- Block 1: Enterprise identity, NIC 2025 activity classification
- Block 3: Fixed assets, capital work-in-progress
- Block 4: Working capital, loan positions
- Block 5: Employment — male, female, transgender headcount, total labour costs
- Blocks 6A & 6B: Input consumption, coded via CPC 3.0
- Block 7A: Revenue, output, receipts
- Blocks 11 & 12: Digital technology and IT infrastructure
For Faridabad manufacturers, Blocks 6A and 6B involve the most detailed work — raw materials, consumables, and purchased services all need to be correctly coded under CPC 3.0.
Financial Reconciliation GST returns, audited P&L, balance sheet, payroll register, and fixed asset schedule — all reconciled with each other before portal submission.
Multi-GSTIN Apportionment Where Needed Faridabad businesses with national distribution networks or manufacturing units in multiple states may have consolidated books. We extract Haryana GSTIN-specific data accurately.
Portal Filing and Post-Submission Support End-to-end submission through the official MoSPI platform and support for any NSO field queries.

What Makes Faridabad Manufacturer Filings More Demanding: Faridabad's industrial sector is characterized by mid-size and large manufacturers with high raw material throughput. For ASI filings, this means Block 6 (intermediate consumption) can have hundreds of input line items — steel grades, rubber compounds, chemicals, packaging materials — each requiring a CPC 3.0 code. Getting this coded correctly is essential; an inconsistent or incomplete Block 6 is one of the most common reasons businesses receive follow-up queries from NSO field offices.
We handle the CPC coding alongside your purchase accounts and BOM data to ensure Block 6 is clean at submission.
Frequently Asked Questions
Our Faridabad factory files annual returns under the Factories Act and labour laws. Does that satisfy the ASI requirement? No. ASI is completely separate from Factories Act returns, labour law compliance (PF, ESIC, LWF), or any other regulatory filing. It's a statistical survey under MoSPI/NSO that requires a separate submission through the NSO portal.
We received an ASI notice for our factory. We also have a trading LLP in Faridabad — could that get an ASISSE notice separately? Yes — they're separate entities with separate GSTINs. If your trading LLP's Haryana GSTIN was in NSO's ASISSE sample, it would receive its own independent notice and file its own return.
Our factory audit for FY 2024–25 isn't done yet. Can we start the filing process anyway? Yes. We can work with provisional accounts and update figures as the audit progresses. Start early — ASI data preparation for manufacturing units takes time even with all documents available.
Can ASC Group handle Faridabad clients including units in Old Faridabad and Ballabhgarh? Yes. We work with clients across all of Faridabad and the surrounding areas.
