Mr. Rakesh Gupta is a retired govt. employee post graduated in commerce from HP University, Shimla. He has a distinguished experience of 34 years in Customs, Central Excise and Service Tax (GST Department). During his professional journey, he has worked with different Departments like Directorate of Revenue Intelligence Delhi (DRI), Directorate of Central Excise Intelligence Delhi (DGGI), IGI Airport Delhi, Anti Evasion/Preventive branches of Department and GST Audit.
Mr. Gupta appeared/represented in numerous cases of CESTAT/Settlement Commission/ Hon'ble High Court, etc. He was also honored with SAMMAN Awards from Finance Minister of India in 1999 and Presidential Appreciation Award in 2013.
Post obtaining superannuation from GST Audit Delhi i.e. Ministry of Finance Department of Revenue (CBIC), he started mentoring and providing GST, Customs consultancy to big Companies like Reliance, Godfrey Phillips India, Amibica Steels, Baluja Shoes, and furthermore.
